Womenize! Games & Tech 2015 – Berlin

Taking place at the occasion of the nationwide Girls’ Day, the very first Womenize! event was an action day about recruitment and career training of women in the digital economy.

Like in future years, Womenize! was embedded as a core event into International Games Week Berlin (later renamed gamesweekberlin).

Berlin’s Senator for Economics, Technology and Research, Cornelia Yzer, opened the Womenize! action day, which aimed at companies, female professionals, trainees and students. The event received overwhelming feedback and response, signalising that this format was much needed – so we continued in the following years, and today we’re still here.
